Detroit Lions Tailgating in Eastern Market is back!
This is looking to be one of the most exciting Thanksgivings for football. The Lions are on a 3-game winning streak and as usual, our anticipation is high. And, according to wxyz.com, Detroit Lions tailgating in Eastern Market is back!
Last year, Eastern Market was closed off to tailgaters because of the pandemic. So now it’s back open and ready for all the football fun. In addition to the Turkey Trot and the Thanksgiving Parade, Thursday is going to be a crazy busy day. Businesses around the Eastern Market and all of downtown are excited and getting ready for the massive possible turnout.
Make sure you have your parking planned out. Eastern Market will be open from 7 am to 7 pm and is selling tickets for spaces at $60 right here. They have a list of rules regarding space size, cooking, and alcohol which may be required reading also. But if you’ve done this a thousand times, you probably have a game plan.
The Detroit Lions are sitting on an amazing three-win streak and this game is looking like it to be a shoot-out. On cbssports.com, they predict high scoring with each team scoring around 30 points a piece. On paper, the Detroit Lions don’t have the same season highlights as the Buffalo Bills do, but the Lions have never been a team to look at the past, but forward. Maybe with the streak, their energy and the fan’s enthusiasm will continue on through Thursday and beyond.
But the Detroit Lions are known for the roller coaster-like ride of emotions they put us through. Either we will be breaking down in tears of joy or raging and throwing turkey sandwiches at the wall! Whatever happens, it is going to be a Thanksgiving to remember!
