Guys, here’s a pro tip: If you want to propose to your significant other, put some thought into it. Make it romantic.

Take some tips from this cute news story about a news anchor getting proposed to on the air.

WLNS 6 News this Morning anchor Kiyerra Lake got a huge surprise on Friday morning (Dec. 9) when her longtime boyfriend Jordan proposed to her on set during the morning news show. Kiyerra’s co-anchor Jorma Duran helped with everything and even filmed what was going on in the background on Facebook Live. A lot went into this proposal to make sure it went off perfectly.

“My birthday weekend is off to a great start,” Lake said on social media. “Many of you watched this live.. but my best friend proposed to me this morning.” Big congratulations to Kiyerra and Jordan. What a cute and romantic proposal. View photos from the special moment below.
