I am blaming this all on the girls parents! They have failed to show her and educate her on things from the past, like um I don't know...A home phone!
This poor girl came up with an "amazing" idea along with the 9 year old she watches. A phone for the home that is attached to the wall so that everyone always knows where it is.
Here is the video:
Now I hope this is not real, but if it is, I am still blaming it 100 percent on the parents of this young lady. I was born in 1990 and my parents made it a thing to teach me about old technology and things from the past.
For example, I remember when they showed me a rotary phone. My Papa had one on his wall until the day he died and I always loved going over and making call from it. I did always ask, how many people died because it took to long to call 911.
I found some history on the landline phone, incase this girl finds this post!
Early landline phones were simple devices that consisted of a microphone, a speaker, and a switchboard. The switchboard was operated by a human operator who would connect callers to their desired parties. In the early days of the landline phone, there were no dialing mechanisms, and calls had to be made through an operator.
Over time, the landline phone evolved, and technological advancements made it possible for people to make calls without the assistance of an operator. The first dial phones were introduced in the 1890s, and they became increasingly popular throughout the 20th century.
