Walk Up songs are a massive part of baseball nowadays, but this mom took it to another level with her April Fools joke!

So this mom is the announcer for the team's games. She introduces each player and plays their walkup song for them. Well, with it being April Fools Day over the weekend, she played a little joke on them by changing their walk up songs to some embarrassing tunes.

Here is the video of it! It will leave you cracking up.

Now in High School we never had walk up songs, but when I got to college that all changed. As other collage ball players will know, half of your skill is picking a sweet walk up song. There was one issue for me, when I got to college I was the freshman again and had to restart everything. Also as a freshmen, the upperclassmen got to pick your first walk up song. You had to use it for the entire first game you played.

Unfortunately, the guys pick one of the hottest songs of that year. "Call me Maybe" I will never forget that day!

I heard my name announced and was so excited and nervous for my first at bat in College. Just to walk up and hear..Hey I just met you..And this is crazy...Here's my number...Call me maybe!

I almost died laughing, it was so damn funny and the whole team was cracking up. Luckily, I calmed myself down and ripped a single to left. After that I ended up keeping the song for much longer than I should have!

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
