Michigan Mix Drink PILK- Pepsi and Milk is Popular Trend Again TV fans know “Laverne and Shirley” was ahead of this viral ‘trend." "PILK," is short for Pepsi and Milk. Lavern who was played by actor Penny Marshall's favorite drink was Pepsi and Milk. A comedy bit for a few laughs when the sitcom aired in the 70s, now known as Dirty Soda. Now they are called Mocktails alcohol-free beverages.

Pilk is back (which is short for Pepsi and Milk ) and better than ever. This recipe of Pepsi and milk has been around since the 1970s, with this old tv clip I found on YouTube. Now, the recipe to create "Pilk "has been repurposed into a TikTok trend. Pepsi themselves released an ad of actress Lindsay Lohan making some Pilk.

Let me warn you ahead of time it's an acquired taste. Expect it to be bad. There have other dairy-and-soda combinations — egg creams, root beer and Vernor's floats (soda and ice cream), vanilla creamer, and Coca-Cola. Pilk does not taste like a root beer float. Will this internet trend catch out with a younger audience? I got a feeling they will say, "Ew, That's Gross." If they still talk like that anymore. One thing for sure that I'm happy about Pilk is it does not taste like pumpkin spice.
