The Detroit Lions are big news right now, as they have pulled out some surprises during the NFL Draft.
Now, sources are reporting that the Lions are trading starting RB D’Andre Swift. Here’s the scoop.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network broke the news on Twitter, stating, “The #Lions are trading starting RB D’Andre Swift, sources tell me and @TomPelissero, sending him to the #Eagles in exchange for draft pick compensation. With David Montgomery and now first-rounder Jahmyr Gibbs, Swift heads out.”
What do you think of this move? It’s not a total shock, but I personally wanted to see the Lions hold onto Swift. We had such great chemistry in our offense last season, and I don’t want to see that disappear. But, the Eagles are a great team, so he’ll soar there, if these reports are accurate.
