Pizza bread and Pizza rolls are two of the Michigan staples you must eat if you are from here. A lot of places are known for them, but thankfully we have friend of the show and Detroit Native, Chow Down Detroit Seoung Lee to go out and find the best.

As Seoung notes in his video, a ton of people have been telling him to check out the Villa Bakery in Garden city and get one of their pizza breads. He set out do check it out and gave us a great review of the famous Garden City Pizza bread!

For those who are not from here or have never tried a pizza bread or pizza role you are really missing out! Basically it is your favorite part of the pizza stuffed into some of the greatest bread you will ever taste.

Most bakeries in Michigan make their own pizza breads, but there are a few places that are very famous for them. Take the Villa Bakery for example, as you see in the video there are rows and rows of pizza bread ready to go everyday.

We all have our go to spot and mine is the Livonia Italian Bakery right on 7 Mile in Livonia. I used to live right next door to it and would stop in all the time for a pizza bread or roll depending on how hungry I was. Now that I moved away from Livonia, I will find myself making a trip there after work every month or so. There is something about them that I can't get enough of. Plus, it is the perfect driving food.

Honestly though, no matter which bakery you call yours, you cannot go wrong. Pizza bread is the gift that always keeps on giving!

Here is a list for you to argue about!

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
