There’s No Tackling In Golf

I know things in the world of golf are a little heated right now, but this security guard in Canada over the weekend got a little carried away.

Now this guy was just doing his job, and the player wasn't hurt so we can all laugh about it now! It was an honest moment that ended becoming the viral video of the weekend.

This weekend was the RBC Canadian Open, it is Canada's national tournament and they haven't had a Canadian winner in over 30 years. That all changed as Nick Taylor won the tournament in a wild play off.

That was the big story, but what happened after he won is what everyone is talking about. As Nick was playing in the play off against Tommy Fleetwood, Nick's fellow Canadians were all watching from the sidelines. Among them were PGA player Adam Hadwin. Adam ran onto the green as many of the players did to congratulate Nick. The only problem was a security guard didn't recognize Adam and proceeded to tackle him.

Here is the first video we saw of the incident. Adam was just trying to spray his buddy with some Champaign but instead got sacked!

Now you can feel a few ways about what happened, but no matter what the security guard was doing his job. And this, tournament was wild! At one point someone went running off with the flag stick from hole number 9.

Overall, it was another wild moment during a wild day of professional golf. Honestly, with the news breaking about the merger, golf fans needed this kid of tournament. Now on the the US Open this week!
