Vernors Black Cherry Is Back

End Of July Delicious Black Cherry Vernors Is Making A Michigan Return for a very limited time. This is another market test for Michigan and Ohio. Available in cans, two-liter bottles, and 20-ounce bottles.

Another Michigan original! Vernors, from the Dr. Pepper/7Up company, after a long tradition has decided to introduce again a new flavor of Vernors. Black Cherry Vernors.

Back in August of 2022,  it was sold out. I went to an overcrowded Walmart near my residence, and low and behold, I found a few 12-packs of the product. Employees there said they had a few pallets that went quickly last night, as consumers snatched them up left and right.

I did a taste test experiment last year, I used a huge glass mug packed with ice and poured the liquid to see if it had the same effect as the original Vernors, which it did. The color is a beautiful black cherry hue that fills the glass and lots of carbonated bubbles surround the ice.

As for taste, pleasantly surprised at the flavor that was bursting with a really fine black cherry flavor. Also starting to think of what alcohol I can fix with it to make a cocktail to enjoy the rest of the summer. It mixed great with Crown Royal Vanilla also Von Pain Black Blended whiskey

The only downfall of feeling a Michigan cold coming on is that this version of Vernors will snap out of an illness like the original Vernors. My next experiment will be a Black Cherry Vernor float. Overall, I give it an 8.7 on the new Vernors Michigan Original Black Cherry Ginger Soda.
