Okay, I will admit something right of the bat. Some of my Grounds for Divorces are a little tongue and cheek, or my wife knows what I am going to ask. This one was the complete opposite. I actually got pretty fired up when she came to me with this idea and knew I had to bring it to air.
So my Grounds for Divorce involved a weekend that has been planned for 4 months! My cousins are coming into town who we haven't seen in over a year. They will be staying at my moms like they always do and we will be hanging on the lake all weekend. Out of nowhere, my wife decided she wants to go to a friends BBQ on Saturday.
Here is the question I asked:
"WE HAVE MY COUSINS COMING IN TOWN AND WE HAVE KNOWN ABOUT IT FOR 3 MONTHS…HEIDI JUST GOT INVITED TO A FRIENDS BBQ ON SATURDAY..I SAID SHE HAS TO STAY WITH OUR COMPANY BECAUSE THIS HAS BEEN PLANNED FOR SO LONG"
Now before I get to the listener comments I do want to say. I know for a fact that I would never be allowed to do this if the shoe was on the other foot.

Ryan, what kind of couch do you have? It must be comfortable as hell because you sleep on it a lot.
I know this is a stretch but Ryan how would you feel if something happened to her friend say on their way home and you did not let Heidi go to see them. It's only for a little bit let her go and enjoy her friends life is too short
Now I only wanted to put three comments up there because the rest were just trashing me! lol
FINAL THOUGHTS:
I think this comes up to supporting your spouse. I am sure she will have some payback for me down the road!
