Ryan’s Son, Finnian’s Backyard Retreat
Alright so my son is very spoiled and I am okay with that, most days I will take him to my mom’s house so he can get out in the water and go on boat rides. For the days we just want to stay home I have now created the ultimate backyard water retreat for him!
My son Finnian is 15 months old and absolutely loving life! He spends most days hanging out on Crooked Lake in Brighton, but when he is home he now has a backyard waterpark to play in!

Yes, this is a post to show of my son, but it makes me so happy to see how happy he is. He is living his best life and I love it!
It is very funny to see his different reactions in the videos above. Being able to see him discover things for the first time is so funny to me. I see him finding different ways to show his personality everyday and it makes me happy.
I know that some people may say spoiling your kid is not great for him. Don’t worry, in this world I am sure he will face a lot of adversity naturally. As a dad I want to be the kind of father that my dad was to me and this is how he did it.
He went out of his way to make sure I had a good day no matter what was going on in his world. That is the exact way I want to be with my son, no matter what happens in my world, when I get home with him it all goes away!
