When one thinks about the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue brand, a few big names come to mind. One of those names is Kate Upton. She has appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue many time, dating all the way back to 2011. She actually made her brand debut in the Philippines in 2011, and since then, Upton has appeared in many issues. She even snagged the highly respected spot on the cover three different times. Now, Kate Upton is blindingly hot in a video lookback.
Yes, it appears the world loves Upton, or at least Sports Illustrated readers. Now, the magazine is looking back on one of Upton's most popular photo shoots. This shoot took place in 2014, when Upton went to the Cook Islands with photographer James Macari for one of two photoshoots that year. While many of the shows had Upton posting on bright, beautiful white sand, some of the other shots were more difficult. They say the life of a model isn't as easy as it looks. Maybe that's the case. But, at least she wasn't in Antarctica or something.

In particular, Upton recalls that the hammock shot was really tough. "Getting on a hammock hanging from the boat is very difficult... because I can't get my hair wet," she said in a reflective video posted by the magazine. But, of course, Upton did a great job. She wore a neon yellow bikini and grasped onto the hammock while posing for photos.
She also reflected on the photo shoot and how her life has changed since 2014. Upton says that her life is very different, but she still treasures all those memories. "My life has changed completely since the first year in the Philippines," she said in the SI video clip. "It's amazing what Sports Illustrated is able to do for your career and how it can launch you to the next level." Watch the video below.
