A Michigan City Shines Among Cities With Best-Groomed Dogs
Every dog breed possesses its own unique charm. Encountering an adorable dog during your day can instantly uplift the mood of some people. Fortunately, you don’t have to rely on chance encounters with charming pups on the streets. Many dog parents take delight in sharing pictures of their furry friends on social media, allowing everyone to relish their cuteness.
Mixbook, a photography company, has a passion for photography and a love for dogs. They wanted to see which U.S. cities have more adorable canines than others. They formed a panel of devoted dog-loving judges to determine which cities have the cutest pups. Their task was to blindly evaluate sets of dog photos from the 25 most populous U.S. cities and ten international cities. Each photo was accompanied by a city-specific hashtag, like #DogsIn[City Name]. The judges rated the photos based on five distinct characteristics: overall cuteness, cuteness of small dogs, cuteness of big dogs, cuteness of haircuts, and cuteness of faces. The judges’ individual scores were then averaged to produce the final rankings.
