Michigan Summer Event Voted One of the Best in America
America has some fantastic summer events. I’ve even heard of people in their retirement traveling across America to check out all of the different summer events that happen in each state. As it turns out, one Michigan summer event has been voted one of the best in the U.S.
FamilyDestinationsGuide.com recently surveyed 3,000 families. They asked them which summer events they would most like to attend in 2023. “Are they eagerly waiting to immerse themselves in the beauty of Virginia’s Sunflower Festival, or is the charm of celebrating Idaho’s prized produce on Spud Day simply too irresistible?” the outlet writes. They add that the results of the survey revealed some interesting things, including a love for our state.
Before we get to our state, let’s look at the No. 1 most popular American summer event. It’s the Aloha Festivals in Hawaii. “It is an annual cultural celebration showcasing the vibrant traditions and customs of the Hawaiian Islands,” the publication describes. The event offers amazing parades, music, dance performances, art exhibits, culinary experiences and more. Also, No. 2 was the New York City Summer Streets. It’s an annual event that temporarily transforms part of Manhattan’s streets into car-free zones. It allows pedestrians and cyclists to take in a bunch of cool recreational activities. No. 3 was the Sunflower Festival in Virginia.
