The Trenton High School Spelling Error
Residents of Trenton Michigan are not happy this morning and it’s all due to one spelling mistake.
The High School got a new wrap for the football field bleachers. The sign is supposed to welcome everyone who comes to a football game this year. Instead it will “WECOME” everyone. Yes you read that right and the mistake was meant to be there. The high school had their new bleacher wrap installed and it is spelled wrong.
The wrap company forgot one letter in the word welcome and now people in Trenton are flipping out about it.
First, here is a photo of the mistake:

Here are a few comments from the members of Trenton:
“Apparently spelling isn’t taught anymore!” commented Pamela Lang Wells.
“As a Trenton alumne I thank it loks pirfectly fien to me!” commented Jim Holz.
“Bummer & a shame, but let’s fix it quickly and move forward,” commented Jim Aoun.
As you can imagine, a lot of money was spent on stadium upgrades including this new wrap that couldn’t have been cheap. It wrap the entire stands and one mistake and caused more question than school officials could ask for.
Some people are upset with the amount of money that was spent on the sign. And to not even get the spelling right.
I guess this whole wrap will have to be redone, but now I am curious. Was it a mistake by the printing company, or did someone at the school spell it wrong when they sent the plans over.
It all reminded me of this scene from Parks n Rec. They will print whatever you send in.
