  • New research from Gambling.com has revealed which teams gave fans the Best Bang for their Buck in the NFL last season.
  • In first place, as the best bang for your buck team in the NFL, are the Detroit Lions, with Lions fans watching 0.403 points scored on average for every dollar they spent on tickets at the Ford Field!
  • Completing the podium are the Houston Texans in second place with 0.400 points per dollar, and the Cincinnati Bengals in third place with 0.386 points per dollar.

Tickets to go and watch our favorite teams are the most expensive they have ever been, and there's nothing worse than coming home from a game that wasn’t exciting! People want to see the maximum amount of points scored possible. So, this asks the question, which teams give fans the best bang for their buck in the NFL?

Thanks to new research from Gambling.com, The Best Bang for Your Buck Teams in the NFL have been revealed. By analyzing the average ticket prices of every team in the NFL and comparing them to how many points get scored at that home stadium, the best value for money teams in the NFL have been ranked in the following table:

The research shows that the Detroit Lions are the team that provide the most entertainment per dollar spent in the league. With an average ticket price of $145 and with an average of 58.44 points scored at Ford Field, Detroit Lions fans witness on average 0.403 points per dollar they spent on their ticket to the game!

The Houston Texans are the second-best bang for your buck team in the NFL, with fans watching 0.400 points get scored per dollar. There was 41.63 points scored on average at the NRG Stadium last season, with an average ticket price of just $104 – the cheapest in the NFL!

Taking the third-place spot are the Cincinnati Bengals. The average price of a ticket to watch the Bengals last season at $121, with an average of 46.71 points scored at the Paycor Stadium last season, Bengals fan saw an average of 0.386 points scored per dollar while watching the Bengals at home.

When it comes to the worst bang for your buck teams, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are top. The Buccaneers charged an average of $311 to watch their home games last season, and there were only 32.56 points scored on average at the Raymond James Stadium last season – the lowest points total in the NFL. This results in only 0.105 points scored per dollar spent to watch the Buccaneers – the worst in the NFL.

The Las Vegas Raiders are not much better than the Buccaneers, as they charge the most in the NFL for ticket prices with an average ticket price of $448! There was an average of 53.25 points scored at the Allegiant Stadium, meaning that 0.119 points were scored on average for every dollar spent by the Raiders fans!

The third worst bang for your buck team in the NFL is the New England Patriots. With an average ticket price of $286 and an average of 37.38 points scored at the Gillette Stadium, their fans only got to watch 0.131 points on average for every dollar spent to watch the Patriots.

So there you go - Lions are NUMBER ONE!
