Hey Detroit – Ready For Freeze Frame City
Time to play “what if” – what if you mashed up “Freeze Frame” by the J Geils Band and “Detroit Rock City” from KISS…our buddy Bill McClintock has done it with what he calles the “K. Geils Band”…take a couple of minutes out of your day and check this out:
Speaking of KISS – it wouldn’t be a post about the band without something from Gene, right?
Gene Simmons is featured in a very funny video recorded backstage at a recent KISS show.
KISS is currently being supported on their European/UK leg of their farewell tour by The Wild Things. The band recorded a video of Simmons in his full Demon attire driving what appears to be a comically small cart. The band captioned the video, “Things we didn’t expect to see backstage whilst on tour with KISS.” They also added, “He’s still very threatening in that tiny car.”
As if that weren’t hilarious enough, The Wild Things shared a follow-up video of Simmons driving the cart while also giving a very royal wave.
KISS is finally wrapping up their “End of the Road” farewell tour this year. The final leg of the tour will be in North America. All dates for that leg are below.
