Pepsi Celebrates 125 Years

America's Pepsi Turns An Amazing 125 Years Old on August 28th. Pepsi will celebrate its iconic history and pop culture in sports, music, and entertainment. and continue the brand’s next 125 years. On August 28 Pepsi will start the celebration by picking up the tab for free to everyone across the United States and 125 days leading up to New Year’s Eve.

Pepsi will start up 125 events, social content moments, and giveaways. Pepsi has been a part of culture for as long as I remember. From the biggest stars sponsoring the Super Bowl Halftime Show that lasts less than 15 minutes. Remember the Pepsi Challenge? to rival Coke cola. Some of the greatest TV ads from Cindy Crawford to Michael Jackson, to Ray Charles.

Dare to think outside the box with Pepsi Wild Cherry and new Nitro Pepsi even Peeps flavored, Little Caesars is doing an exclusive Pineapple flavored. Yes, I even enjoyed Crystal Pepsi when it came out, twice.

Hungry For Pepsi

There's plans underway for The Pepsi Diner in New York City to open in October. A special themed menu, diner favorites, and unique Pepsi creations including Pepsi PIThe only, Crystal Pepsi. Only way to get in is a reservation ahead of time. Pilk is back (which is short for "Pepsi and Milk" ) and better than ever. This recipe has been around since the 1970s, with this old TV clip I found on YouTube.

Pepsi Superbowl Highlight

Voted overall the best halftime show ever was the 2007 Pepsi Halftime show featuring Prince Live for less than 15 mins in the rain. Watch the incredible performance by clicking this link here.

Young Alfonso Ribeiro  from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in a Commercial

Commercial from 1984 where "Michael Jackson" dances with "Alfonso Ribeiro," "Carlton Banks" from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Took years later for me to put the two together. Alfonso also did some famous McDonalds commercials.
