The Detroit Lions want a big "W" on the road against rivals Green Bay this Thursday (Sept. 27). The game takes place at Lambeau Field to open Week 4 of the 2023 NFL season. While Green Bay is without Aaron Rodgers this year, they're looking pretty strong, perhaps stronger than predicted. The Packers recently rallied to come back from a big point deficit to beat the Saints. Moreover, Detroit just beat the Atlanta Falcons, and earlier in the season, they won over reigning Super Bowl champs the Kansas City Chiefs. So, for the Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers game, who will win?

Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers: Who Will Win?

This is a tough call. Both teams are solid this year, but the general consensus is that the Lions are a stronger team, both on defense and offense. But, it's never an easy win at Lambeau. Plus, this will mark the first time the Lions go up against Packers starting quarterback Jordan Love, who is giving some solid numbers. My prediction? Lions 24, Packers 21. I think it will be close, but I see the Lions inching out a victory. I think it will be a tighter game that against the Atlanta Falcons. What are your predictions? By the way, there's a new episode of "The Squad with Anne Erickson" up for your listening pleasure. Larry Lage of the AP joins me on the show to talk about the current Lions team and much more. "If you have the best quarterback, you win," he says on the show. I agree. The quote came during our conversation about Jared Goff. We’re both Goff fans and believe he is the best quarterback to lead this team for now and a long time. We also talk about which NFL teams will make it to the Super Bowl and much more.
