As the Lions head into their game Sunday against Carolina, it's interesting to see how the Detroit Lions Goff is changing minds nationally. After four games his stats: Through four games, Goff has completed a career-best 69.5% of his passes with six touchdowns. He ranks seventh in the NFL with 1,029 yards passing and his passer rating is 146.8 on balls that travel over 21 yards in the air (that leads the NFL).

So how is the national media reacting to Goff - Pat McAfee showed a BUNCH of Lions love for Jared

Let's be honest - it's an interesting time for Detroit Lions fans. How do you balance expectations and what we've experienced in the past? It's not like the Lions have been frontrunners over the years, so there's that....are we now the Cubs of the NFL?

What other team has had a longer streak of bad luck/losing that the Lions? Chargers? nah....Browns? maybe.

But you can feel the vibe from pundits all over - they love this team...from Dan Campbell biting kneecaps and drink 5000mg of caffeine every morning to loveable fan base that shows up no matter what. Hell, we pretty much took over Lambeau Field...when does that ever happen?

We're all nervous watching the games - waiting for the other shoe to fall. But what if it doesn't? What if Detroit Lions Goff changing minds nationally is just a part of the new Lions? Where's my Honolulu blue Kool-Aid?

Of course, if you're feeling confident about Detroit football - you can always try to win $10,000 in Big Jim's House "Call The Ball"
