Papa John’s Is Getting Crazy

The world of chain pizza is getting out of control. Hungry Howies is putting honey on pizza, Little Caesars has a new 4 corner calzony which looks strange, but now Papa Johns is getting in on the strangeness.

This is one of the weirdest pizza combos I have seen come from a chain in a long time. I don't like sweats so this really doesn't do anything for me. But, like I always say, if they are making and selling it, someone likes it.

Papa Johns is now selling crushed-up Twix wrapped in pizza dough.  They're calling them Twix Papa Bites.  They're available for rewards members now, but don't officially hit their menu until next Monday.

This almost sounds like a TikTok hack to use up leftover Halloween candy. Papa Johns just debuted a new dessert item . . . crushed-up TWIX BARS wrapped in pizza dough.

They've also got cheesecake filling inside, and come with a caramel dipping sauce.

They're called Twix Papa Bites. Papa Johns already has another version that uses crushed-up Oreos. You get eight for $5. They don't officially hit their menu until next Monday. But rewards members can get them this week.

I will leave this to my wife to try. She loves this kind of stuff, but honestly I don't see the appeal at all. I get it, these places have to adapt and come up with new things every year to make sure people keep buying their food. But the pizza world is getting out of control.
