Really Strange Michigan Law Still On The Books For Golfers

There is still a Strange Michigan Law on the books that relates to golf. There are over 650 golf courses in The State of Michigan, this sport is one of the great things to do for tourists in Michigan This sport is one of the great things that bring tourists to Michigan. 

There's a Michigan law,  Detroit: Sec. 5-2-6. Putt-putt golf courses must close by 1:00 AM. Hours for golf driving ranges, putting greens, and miniature golf courses. No miniature golf course, practice or driving courses, or putting greens shall be operated between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. The law is outdated and never to my knowledge ever enforced.  The question is what happened?

Michigan Law Sec. 5-2-6. Putt-putt golf courses must close at 1:00 AM and must be repealed. Need to write your Michigan State Representatives and work on this before next Spring. Crazy as it sounds, we cannot go on in life with such injustice to one of the greatest parts of the game of golf. To putt or not to putt, that is a mulligan!
