Detroit Lions Fans have a lot to be proud of this season. Detroit Lions tied a franchise record regular season. NCF North Division champions at 12 wins and only 5 losses. (I still say we beat Dallas).
The Lions won their first division title since 1993, and their first ever as a member of the NFC North. This also marks their first playoff appearance since 2016. The Lions won an NFL playoff game with Lions QB Jared Goff over the LA Rams and former quarterback Matthew Stafford. 24-23 at Ford Field. Even got to put up a banner or two in the Ford Field rafters.

The Lions Latest Success
The Lions set a TV viewing record for a post-season football game. They said an average of over 35.8 million viewers watched the Lions beat the LA Rams. The most-watched event since the last Super Bowl.
The New record isn’t from the Lions players but the fans from the past Sunday’s game at home at Ford Field. Ford Field hit a new record sound on Sunday. For their first playoff win in 32 years. According to CBS News, Ford Field hit 133.6 decibels for the sound, making it 4th ranked for the loudest stadium level. Talk about fan participation and team spirit. They often call the fans the 12th man. Per DetroitLions.com, Coach Dan Campbell said, “It was pretty unbelievable,” he said. “The people here are special, man. I’m grateful and I’m grateful for their support and today with the circumstances that were there, it meant a lot and it was special.”
The previous record for crowd loudness hit a high of 127.6 decibels at the Lions home opener earlier in the season. Just a comparison they have recorded KISS concerts at 136db. A tornado siren is measured at 130dbs.
