As a parent to a soon to be 2 year old and another one due shortly, I am super excited and happy about the news coming out about Babies "R" Us and their return to stores. Here is all of the information we know right now.

According to Kohl's and its owner WHP Global, Babies "R" Us may be coming to the Kohl's near you! Beginning in August, Kohl's locations around the country will have a Babies "R" Us in them. According to the reports, 200 Kohl's stores will be new homes to Babies "R" Us. From the reports, Babies "R" Us will return to stores with clothing and furniture.

MORE ON THE NEWS:

The reports say that the stores will be inside of Kohl's by august and continue to build in the fall. The stories will be anywhere from 700 to 1,500 square feet, giving you a lot of room for some awesome baby clothes!

Honestly, this is exciting news for a lot of people including my family. I feel like when I was a kid there were so many more options for kids clothing stores. My wife and I have a few favorite spots, but to know that Babies "R" Us will be returning just adds another option that we have for clothes. Growing up in the 90's it was so awesome to go into a babies or Toys "R" Us. I still remember running through the isles and picking out what we wanted. Now we just need to keep our fingers crossed that they put a few of these stories inside of Kohl's around us!

Maybe this will work and allow a comeback for a Toys "R" Us. Like I said, I loved that store growing up and wish my kids were able to experience the joy of walking in there. Honestly, where are good "toy stores" in Detroit?

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
