Total transparency here – I’ve watched this video 5 or 10 times today. It’s that flying cat video that everyone’s talking about. Over 60 million views this week alone…and I can’t stop watching. Let’s break it down, shall we?
That Flying Cat Video – What The Hell?
There’s a lot to break down in this video – but the key is watching the cat (Remi) jump all the way across the room when the other cat knocked a coat off the coat rack. You’ll also notice the dog just looks up at the guy playing video games like “what the hell was that?”. Okay. ready? Warning: NSFW language
That Flying Cat Video – Is the Cat Okay?
The owner was checking on their pets (see the ring logo in the upper left?) when they captured the flying cat moment. Remi the cat is fine, actually landed on a toy. I’ve had cats most of my married life, and they’ve jumped into christmas trees, knocked down lamps, hurdled couches, but I’m pretty sure none of them fly.

That Flying Cat Video – Do you rename the cat?
Okay, there’s nothing wrong with Remi for a cat. But maybe they’d consider more “flying” style names for the cat? (Maverick, Ace, F-16)…or they could use some of the actual cat names:
– Balsamic Vin
– Car Alarm
– Itty Bitty Kitty Committee
– Meownnaise
– Minerva Meowgonagall
– Necronomicat
– Skullcrusher
– Steph Purrrry
– Tony “Scarface” Baloney
– Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator
Seriously – these are actual cat names. We’re boring – our first cats (my wife and I got two to see if we could raise them before trying human kids). They were named Ozzie and Harriet (wonderful cats). Then we got two cats (adopted from the mama kitty of Paige Turner, former traffic reporter here at CSX) – we named them Bear & Tigger (I know, creative again). But we love them. Even if they don’t fly.
The Trials And Tribulations Of Having A Rescue Dog
The Trials And Tribulations Of Having A Rescue Dog
All my life every one of my pets has been a rescue pet. From dogs to cats, birds, and even fish. Just have a soft spot for animals. This loveable dog came into our life as its previous owner could not handle the dog as the owner was pregnant and the dog was always jumping up on her. It was too much for the family to control. This is when Jet became part of our family at the Screamin’ Ranch.
Taking a pause Rock Dog Jett was Told to Sit
Jett is a Lab Sheppard mix with tons of energy that we thought we could handle. Jett is about one year old and I can’t wait for the terrible two’s that are coming. The saying goes, ” If you have one pet you have a family. Two or more pets and you are a referee.” In total as of this writer’s deadline, we have 3 pets and awaiting one more rescue kitty cat from a co-worker. My problem is they are all girls.
Time Out Is Called On The Play. 2 Minuets for Ruffing
A lot of work raising a dog with so much energy. Anything she does wrong that sad puppy dog face gets me every time. Jett has been with us for just about one year. Without any further ado, I would like to show you our feature presentation of Jett’s greatest hits of destruction. The Trials And Tribulations Of Having A Rescue Dog
