Michigan Elvis Fest 2024 Set To Rock Belleville This Weekend
The 25th Annual Michigan Elvis Fest 2024 will be on July 12 & 13, 2024, at the Wayne County Fairgrounds.
The Michigan ElvisFest was founded in 1999. It was started by Elvis tribute artists Matt King and Sherman Arnold to celebrate the music and influence of Elvis Presley. So far, it has grown to be the largest Elvis festival in North America, attended by approximately 20,000 fans each year.

At Elvis Fest 2024, fans can immerse themselves in all things Elvis with live music performances, behind-the-scenes tours, panel discussions, appearances by special guests, and the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest.
Elvis Fest Line Up For 2024
On July 12th and 13th, you can enjoy Elvis Fest, an outdoor festival Celebrating Elvis’s music and memories of some good old rock and roll days gone by. Elvis tribute artists from all over the country come to sing “LIVE” with live bands on stage. Of course, for this family-friendly event, there will be food and Elvis merchandise vendors, free activities for the kids, raffles, and 50/50 drawings.

Other than Memphis, what city hosted Elvis on stage the most times, spreading out over his entire career? The motor city in Detroit was where Presley appeared on stage seven times from 1956 through 1977.
The city’s residents never saw Elvis during his formative years of 1954-55 since he hardly ever performed outside the South then. However, they did see his show in May 1956, when his career started exploding.
The first stop was 1956, when Elvis played at the Fox Theater in Detroit. The following years saw King Elvis play the old Red Barn of Olympia. Home of the Detroit Red Wings 5 more times.
Then, in 1970, when Elvis returned to live performing, Detroit was one of his first stops when he took his act back on the road. Presley returned to Detroit in 1972, 1974.
In 1975, he played the Pontiac Sliverdome for the first two New Year concerts. Elvis performed on December 31st, 1975, one night at the Silverdome, Pontiac, Michigan, to a record in-person audience of over 62 000
and finally, in 1977, just four months before his death, on April 22, 1977— one more time at Olympia Stadium. A slightly smaller crowd of about 15,000 came to see Elvis Presley.
