The Big Surprise Came Out Of Nowhere This Year
I was surprised at which restaurant took the coveted spot. I'm a Taco Bell fan back in the 80s. Del Taco wasn't even on my radar. I have one within walking distance of my home in Roseville, MI.
Chick-fil-A has topped the annual USA Today Readers’ Choice Awards for best fast food restaurant in the United States nine times in a row. The Southern chicken chain has been popping up everywhere around Michigan recently. It is loved for its efficiency, hospitality, and mischievous ‘Eat Mor Chikin’ mascots.
With this year’s list, however, there was a shocking upset: Chick-fil-A dropped to number three in the rankings.

Chick-fil-A is building more stores to combat and get back to #1. Like this one that is almost finished in front of Macomb Mall. Can't wait to see how traffic will be when it opens. Maybe I should get in line.
