Tigers Return To Cable Coming With A Cost To You
On Monday afternoon, Comcast and Diamond Sports Group announced that they had reached a new TV carriage deal. The agreement states that fans who subscribe to Xfinity’s “Ultimate TV” package can watch Major League Baseball games, including the Tigers, starting on Thursday.
Subscribers can stream games on the Bally Sports app using their Xfinity ID. This applies to 15 regional sports networks on Diamond, and if things go as planned, it will also apply to the NBA and NHL RSNs.
This is their higher and more expensive package for Comcast users, but Xfinity has said it will offer basic-cable subscribers the “Ultimate TV” at no additional cost for three months.
