Thieves at large after breaking into Warren Stamping Plant, stealing Jeep Wagoneers
Ten high-priced Jeep Wagoneers worth nearly a million dollars combined were stolen. Warren police say all the suspects were kids under 18, as a recent trend going around metro Detroit of break-ins at area auto dealers.
The theft happened early on the morning of July 22 when thieves crashed a Dodge Ram through the Warren Stamping Plant fence to gain access to the lot.
They stole 10 Grand Wagoneers – which start at about $93,000 for each.

It seems to be the new trend going around. Recently, thieves stole luxury vehicles during a smash-and-grab at Southfield rental company.
The company, Dream Luxury Car Rental, showed multiple thieves smashing through a window at the business early Tuesday morning and making off with a TRX, a Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 53, and a Corvette.

Ranking The Best Jeep Wrangler Colors
The unique, sharp-looking Jeep Wrangler has been turning heads since 1986. Recently, Jeep announced what’s new with the 2024 Wrangler, including the exterior color options. Here, we will rank the four best colors available for the new Jeep Wrangler.
Before we admire the color options that continuously help make the Wrangler one of the most unique vehicles on the road, let’s first examine some of the new features for 2024.
“The Wrangler picks up a mild visual and tech update for 2024, with an updated grille and no fewer than ten new wheel designs,” Car and Driver explains. Jeep has also spent a lot of time researching and developing the software components of their vehicles. This helps upgrade the technology accessories like navigation options, Apple CarPlay, and its code-reading system. Furthermore, Jeep has made a big push in recent years to enable the Wrangler to have a hybrid option. Two additional models will have the option to be an EV hybrid. You can recognize if a Wrangler is a hybrid type by the light blue accents on the exterior (logo, and trim outlines).
Model Types
There are 13 Jeep Wrangler body and model types. This ranges from the Sport entry level to the top of the line, Rubicon 392. Within this scope of Wrangler variations, the price points vary tremendously. Depending upon which model you select and the options added in, a 2024 Wrangler can start as low as $33,690. The most expensive option can run you close to $90,000.
Color Options
In order to rank the best Jeep Wrangler colors available in 2024, we need to know what color options there are to select from. “The new 2024 Jeep Wrangler is available in 11 eye-catching exterior colors, including new-for-2024 Bikini and Anvil, as well as Earl, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, High Velocity, Hydro Blue, Sarge, Bright White and Black,” Jeep said in a press release.
#4 Sarge Green
After years of not having a proper green color exterior option (other than lime) the Sarge option entered the lineup in late 2020. Sarge is particularly striking in the one-color variation where the roof is also Sarge green, as opposed to black. Take a Rubicon off-roading and show off this green tone. A few models also come in a hybrid version, where the Sarge has the light blue accents, increasing how unique this Wrangler looks.
Some of the more eccentric colors Jeep has showcased over the years have simply been too much. There was something about a fluorescent tone that did not always pair well with the ruggedness. However, the High Velocity Yellow is perfectly named. It’s a spark plug of Wrangler where the color pops and is subtle at the same time. Going down a freeway or situated in a crowded parking lot, this option is like a lightning bolt among stones. Its perfect environment is with the top off and parked right along the beach.
Whether you are going for a slick and sporty look in a Sahara model or an aggressive look with a Rubicon, the white exterior with the white top and dark wheels is a home run. It’s like the Wrangler dressed up for a fancy formal affair. Certain models like the High Altitude allow for a white grill and bumper, turning this Wrangler into the most “White-Out” option possible. It’s sharp and really meshes well with the hustle and bustle of a busy city.
One of the biggest re-model enhancements the Wrangler came out during the past ten years was the Sky One-Touch roof option. This is a essentially the a button you push from inside that opens a soft-top roof from the inside. It’s essentially an oversized moonroof that opens above both levels of seating. The light Earl Blue color with this option looks unmatched driving around the bends and curves of a suburban town. It has the “what color is that?” effect. This has become one of the more increasingly popular Wrangler options. Don’t be surprised if you see more and more of them around your region as they almost every model offers this color option now.
