62 Foot Cheap Trick Guitar Crushing It At Hard Rock
Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick will have his signature black and white checkerboard guitar immortalized in a 62 foot model that will reside in Rick’s hometown, Rockford, Illinois. The giant Cheap Trick guitar will live in front of the Hard Rock Casino.
The exact measurements, according the mystateline.com, out the guitar at 62 feet and 10-inches tall, and 38 feet and 6-inches wide. The guitar should be in place before the Rockford Hard Rock’s grand opening on August 29th, 2024.

Rick’s collection includes three Gibson ‘Korina’ Flying V guitars made in the late 1950s. Less than 50 were made. They are among the rarest guitars in the world. ’59 Sunburst Les Pauls, EMS 1235 Double Necks, and ’59 TV Juniors are all a part of Rick’s guitar collection that he has massed over the last 50+ years.
