What Is The Peach Festival?

The Romeo Peach Festival returns to Michigan for Labor Day Weekend with a giant fruit-themed county fair complete with carnival rides, games, and a LOT of food and fun.

Since the festival began in 1931, many peach-related traditions have started, ended, and evolved, and they continue to draw thousands to the event each year.

Once again, some wonderful children’s parades, the Peach Queen Pageant, or check out the festival’s dozens of other activities, including 5k and 10k fun-runs, local markets, carnival rides, parades, fireworks, and a new lineup of live music every night.

Smaller activities are all over town for the whole family throughout the weekend, like an annual tasty pancake breakfast and “Peachy Craft Show.” Can't have a festival without a Pie Eating contest.”

The Romeo Peach Festival Is Famous For These Stats

  • Up to 10,000 people have attended the festival each year.
  • Entry to the festival is free; however, some events are ticketed and vary in price. A $5 donation is required to attend the festival’s concert series.
