A 53-year-old Florida man named John Sturgeon was driving around in his souped-up Dodge Charger on Sunday, when a guy in another car waved and told him he had a sweet ride.
And John responded to the compliment . . . but punching him in the face. (???)
Florida Road Rage
It happened near Lake Wales, Florida, about halfway between Tampa and Orlando. He pulled in front of the guy . . . stopped in the middle of the road . . . walked up to his driver's side window . . . and clocked him. Seriously dude?
The guy's dash-cam got it on video. You can hear John ask if he thinks he's "tough." And the guy responds by telling him he was just trying to say "nice car, bro." It's obvious he was VERY confused by the reaction it got.
John hopped back in his Charger and took off. But the dash-cam got a clear shot of his license plate, and cops were able to I.D. him. Last we heard, they hadn't tracked him down yet though.
People online did track down his Facebook page, and he's posted several shots of the car. So they've been leaving comments like, "Nice car, bro" and "this is the car that can't take a compliment."
