Electric Light Orchestra Announce Last Concert On the Over And Out Tour
Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra – has announced the very last show of the tour.
The legendary spaceship was started in Birmingham in 1970 by Jeff Lynne, Roy Wood, and drummer Bev Bevan. Their music combines pop, classical, and rock and roll arrangements.
Where And When Is The Last ELO Show?
They’ll leave the road after a July 13, 2025, performance at Hyde Park in London – the same site where the Electric Light Orchestra returned to concert stages 10 years ago.
Tickets for the farewell show go on sale at 4 AM ET on Friday, Oct. 25. Presales begin at 5 AM ET on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
Jeff Lynn was asked recently in Rolling Stone about the last show.
“My return to touring began at Hyde Park in 2014. It seems like the perfect place to do our final show,” Lynne said in an official statement. “We couldn’t be more excited to share this special night in London with our U.K. fans, ‘We’re gonna do it one more time!'”
ELO’s Has Had A Tremendous Rock And Roll Run
During ELO’s original 13-year period of active recording and touring, they sold over 50 million records worldwide and collected 21 RIAA and 38 British music awards.
From 1972 to 1986, ELO accumulated 27 Top 40 songs on the UK Singles Chart and fifteen Top 20 songs on the US Billboard Hot 100.
The band also holds the record for having the most Billboard Hot 100 Top 40 hits with 20.

In 2017, four key members of ELO (Wood, Lynne, Bevan, and Tandy) were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

From 2000, mini-reunions were held for about ten years or more, but they were never billed as ELO or Electric Light Orchestra concerts.
It wasn’t until 2014 in London’s Hyde Park on 14 September 2014 sold out in 15 minutes. Billed as “Jeff Lynne’s ELO,” Lynne and the late Richard Tandy.

ELO’s Spaceship Is Grounded Because Of Covid
ELO released their 14th album, From Out of Nowhere, on 1 November 2019. While a tour from the album was announced to begin in October 2020, the official Jeff Lynne’s ELO Twitter page later announced that the tour was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On 18 March 2024, ELO announced the Over And Out Tour, its final tour of North America, which would run from August to October 2024.
Now, the Tour comes full circle and is set to end on July 13, 2025, finally, performance at Hyde Park in London
