Started thinking about matching up great classic rock bands with candy bars for Halloween. Or maybe we're just looking for a reason to buy all these candy bars (don't judge me)

Halloween Candy Bars and Classic Rock

1. Snickers – Led Zeppelin

Heavy hitter, full of sound (sorry, sweets with something for everyone. Always leaves you satisfied, right?  Snickers…like Led Zeppelin, has stood the test of time. "Rock and Roll"

2. M&M’s – The Beatles

Colorful by nature and full of different varieties - just like the evolution of the Beatles music. Is Ringo the peanut flavored? "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' has all the colors of M&Ms.

3. Milky Way – Pink Floyd

Smooth, trippy and takes you on a journey - much like the music of Pink Floyd. Travelling to the Dark Side of the Moon...much like the glide with a milky way bar.

4. Reese’s – AC/DC

Bold. Sweet. Always delivers. The perfect Halloween candy that brings it every time. Just like AC/DC. And the peanut butter/chocolate debate ties into the song “Who Made Who” (see what I did there?)

5. Hershey chocolate bar – The Rolling Stones

Classic. Reliable. The foundation of classic rock. Just like the Hershey chocolate bar is the candy foundation of America. ("It's Only Rock and Roll")

6. Kit Kat – Queen

More complex that you’d think with the layers of goodness, just like the music of Queen. Once you take a bite of their music (much like a Kit Kat bar) you can't stop ("Don't Stop Me Now")

7. $100,000 bar – The Eagles

If you know. You know. The $100,000 bar was always the smoothest one on the shelf. Just like the cool vibe you get from songs by The Eagles like “Hotel California” or “New Kid In Town”.

Just The Beginning

Okay, we've got to work on more of these...right? This all actually started when we started looking into the history of candy names for Halloween.
