Red Lobster is going through changes to help the company bounce back after they filed for bankruptcy protection. Red Lobster is rolling out new menu changes to excite seafood lovers.

The Restaurant Chain CEO Revealed The Changes

Damola Adamolekun, the restaurant chain’s new 35-year-old CEO, revealed the changes, which include seven new items.

It includes reintroducing the chain’s beloved hush puppies, which have been missing from its menu recently after social media backlash when they took them off.

Hush puppies may be back on the menu, but another longtime item has vanished: the chain’s famous Ultimate Endless Shrimp promotion. The reason is simple: if you do the math. It was a great promotion, but it was not a money-maker by any means.

Vamping Up The New Menu

Although the menu is 20% smaller, it features seven new items, including bacon-wrapped sea scallops, a lobster bisque, and some new pasta dishes. There is also a rumor that the endless shrimp may be gone, but popcorn shrimp may make a comeback.

Personally, I missed the Hush Puppies a lot to the point that I made my own after some knock-off recipes on social media.

Introducing The New Menu Items

Lobster Pappardelle

Roasted Asparagus

Pasta Bacon Wrapped Sea Scallops

Prepared Mahi

Lemon Basil Mahi

Lobster Bisque

The Red Lobster Famous "Lobsterfest" will still happen, which is great news.

Lobsterfest is still going on, and diners can expect it to be an even more significant event.

“This year they say its going to be bigger and better than ever. You know what they are calling it? The GLOAT: the greatest lobster fest of all time,” he said.

So grab a big adult bib and heat lots of butter cuz it's on!
