It was reported on a website that looked like the website for MSNBC. But the account was fake. It reported the Guns and Roses frontman Axl Rose was found dead in his West Hollywood home at the age of 52. An unknown source said a neighbor had confirmed the residence was Axl Rose's, but police have not confirmed the man's identity.
The home was entered by a back door of the singer's house, where a body was found in the foyer area. And allegedly, the police said there were no signs of foul play at this time and have turned the case to the county corner office to make a final ruling on the cause of death, "said Officer William Tenpenny, a Hollywood police spokesperson.
Axl Rose Was Not The Only Target Of A Death Hoax.
Many other celebrities were also fished in the death hoax online. Celebrities Macaulay Culkin Culkin is an American actor and musician mostly known for the movie, "Home Alone". Considered one of the most successful child actors of the 1990s.

Jeffrey Lynn Goldblum, American actor and musician. He has starred in some of the highest-grossing films, such as Jurassic Park and Independence Day.
What Is Axl Rose Doing Now?
He has been writing his autobiography off-and-on for the last 15+ years, and there have been rumors that it will be published this year.
