BIG NEWS.

Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum is saying goodbye to Hunter’s Square in Farmington Hills and HELLO to a brand-new, BIGGER home at Orchard Mall in West Bloomfield Township.

Yep, you read that right. The move is happening in 2025.

Why Move Now?

Here’s the deal:

Farmington Hills City Council approved a $50-$70 MILLION redevelopment project for Hunter’s Square. Translation? The building Marvin’s calls home is getting torn down to make way for a shiny new Meijer and other shops.

When the council voted in February 2024 to greenlight demolition, Marvin’s owner, Jeremy Yagoda, knew it was time to find a new headquarters for his legendary collection of coin-operated arcade games and vintage entertainment treasures.

The New Spot = MASSIVE Upgrade

So, where are we going?

The Orchard Mall on Orchard Lake Road.

And here’s the kicker: Marvin’s is going from 5,000 square feet of fun to a WHOPPING 14,000 square feet. That’s nearly TRIPLE the size.

What does that mean for you? More space to explore, MORE games, and some exciting new features:

  • Private birthday party rooms (No more sharing space with strangers—decorate however you want!)
  • Photo booths to capture the memories.
  • PLUS… Jeremy’s planning a few surprises he’s keeping under wraps for now.

Intrigued? You should be.

The Big Move

Before we get too excited, let’s address the elephant in the room: moving is no joke.

Some of Marvin’s arcade machines are nearly 90 years old. Moving these beauties is going to take time, effort, and a LOT of care.

But Jeremy’s committed. He’s ready to make sure Marvin’s legacy lives on, bigger and better than ever.

Mark Your Calendar

Marvin’s last day at Hunter’s Square is Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025.

After that, the museum will close TEMPORARILY as everything is carefully packed up and moved to Orchard Mall.

When will the doors to the new Marvin’s open? No date yet. But trust me—it’ll be worth the wait.

What’s Next?

Stay tuned. Big things are happening.

Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum is about to UNVEIL a whole new chapter.

And YOU won’t want to miss it.

Let the countdown begin.

Now, he’s come full circle, back in radio as Detroit’s Digital Program Director, making noise behind the scenes and keeping things running strong online.
