Robert Porcher - where does he watch the Detroit Lions game?

Jim O'Brien: All right, I'm standing here with Robert Porcher. How we doing?

Robert Porcher: Well, man, enjoying the people and enjoying cars. Everybody getting excited for the auto show, so I'm well. And the team is, you know, we've got a football team here that's doing really well too.

Jim: Where do you watch the game?

Robert: (laughs) I usually like to sit at home.

Jim: Are you with the crowd, or are you a by-yourself kind of guy?

Robert: Kind of by myself. Okay, because I like to rewind it.

Jim: So you're analyzing during the game?

Robert: I can't help it. It's horrible. It's horrible. So, the game... the game last Sunday, I was at the restaurant and had a couple beers, and watching that was cool.

Jim: You see Alex Anzalone get out there and the vibe from the team? You experienced it.

Robert: He's a leader, man, and you need that energy. And I was pleasantly surprised by how they played against Minnesota. I had a feeling we would win, just because of what was at stake—being at home, the 12th man, the crowd noise, and them being there—but I had no idea they were gonna just, I mean, beat them down like that.

Jim: You got a bunch of men and women listening in Detroit right now, Robert Porcher. What do you want to say to them?

Robert: Stay warm, first off.

Jim: (laughs) It ain't going to happen.

Robert: It ain't happening. And you know, just be happy where we are because it's never happened before, and you're experiencing it for the first time. Enjoy the ride. But this won't be the last because what they're building with Dan [Campbell] and Brad Holmes over there—they're building a team to compete for some years to come. But this is the first, and it's very important because there's nothing like that first one. So hopefully we can get this win and then move on to the championship game. Once you get there, man, anything can happen. And it's giving the guys a chance to rest, which is big—all the guys on IR, which is very important at this point.

Jim: Well, we loved you here in Detroit, you know that. You got a bunch of men and women who love you and paid good money to come watch you play. You busted your ass every time, and we appreciated it.

Robert: I did what I can do for a country boy.

Jim: Yeah, you did.

Robert: Thank you.
