Floor & Decor Opens Dearborn Store With $100,000 Prize Game and Chevy Truck Giveaway

Floor & Decor opened its warehouse store and design center in Dearborn, Michigan, at 1300 Shehadi Court on Dec. 26. Fifty people were hired.

Wesley Walker serves as Chief Executive Merchant. The retailer operates more than 260 warehouse-format stores across the country, plus design studios in various markets.

"We're excited to open our doors in Dearborn and become part of this community," said Walker in a statement, as shared by Yahoo! Finance. He added, "This new location allows us to better serve local homeowners and professionals with the selection, value, and expertise they need to bring their projects to life."

The company sells hard-surface flooring products. Tile, wood, laminate, vinyl, and natural stone fill the aisles. Shoppers can also find decorative accessories, wall tile, and installation materials throughout the space.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will happen on Jan. 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. ET. The Dearborn Chamber of Commerce will partner with Floor & Decor.

Customers can enter a $5,000 Floor Makeover Sweepstakes from Dec. 26, 2025, through Feb. 25, 2026. Registration is available at www.floormakeoverdearborn.com. You must be at least 18 years old.

The store will host a Super Saturday event on Jan. 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET. Lama's Florist will provide succulent arrangements, while Dearborn Sweets offers cannolis, éclairs, tarts, Neapolitans, and cakes free for the first 200 customers.

The first 200 participants can play the Crack the Code game during Super Saturday. Players will try entering a five-digit code. Get it right and you might win $100,000.

A PRO Industry Networking Event will happen on March 26, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. ET. Contractors and builders can connect with the PRO Services Team and supplier representatives at this gathering. A Chevy Truck giveaway will take place. PROs can RSVP at www.flooranddecor.com/dearbornpro.
