Kudos to The Detroit Historic Museum On Their Bob Seger Day Blast

Rockin' Road Trips hit up a special event at The Detroit Historic Museum recently. It was the closing of the "Travelin' Man Exhibit" with a silent auction of Tom Weschler framed and matted photos. Tom has caught some moments and beautiful photos of the early days of Bob Seger. Tom Weschler was the road manager for Bob Seger in that timeframe and he had access to some unbelievable photo opportunities. The Detroit Historic Museum Closing Exhibit Event The event was kind of like having the museum to ourselves. I checked out a bunch of Detroit Historic Museum exhibits in addition to the Bob Seger event. They had food, drink, and a silent auction of Tom Weschler's photos plus a chat with Gary Graff and Tom Weschler plus a couple of well-known Detroit radio names, Steven Kostan and Mark Pasman. They talked about their early experiences with Bob Seger and his music. They also took questions from the audience and people shared their stories. Journalist, Gary Graff, hosted a discussion of Bob Seger stories and memories including a Q&A at the Detroit Historic Museum as part of the evening's events. Bob Seger Day The event was held on March 15th because it is Bob Seger Day. In 2004, Bob Seger was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the governor of Michigan declared March 15th Bob Seger Day. Detroit Historic Museum Exhibits
