Up first it’s Chino from Deftones. Their new album is out and we talked a lot about it, including the writing process and the lack of special guest musicians. Plus, what are his thoughts on the passing of Eddie Van Halen, beer, vinyl, and lots more.
Pat Simmons from the Doobie Brothers is up next. Lots of excitement on their camp with the Rock N’ Roll Hall Of Fame induction coming up (sometime) and a new box set, Quadio, for purchase. Obviously, being a guitar player, I asked him about EVH as well. He had a well thought out answer to watching a guitar God storm the scene in the late 70’s.
