I talked with Steve Hackett last year and he was such a fun interview, I thought I’d talk to him again! He was equally as good this time…..he’ll be swinging by the Fillmore Theater in Detroit on March 4th.
Steve is heading out on tour – and celebrating a milestone birthday in a couple weeks – and he’s doing something special on it. The show is so long that it’s done in two parts. He tells me about the great band he’s put together, the impact the Beatles had on him and the praise John Lennon gave the band. I asked him if he ever wishes he could play with the original guys again. He tells me his thoughts on the passing of Neil Peart, and other musical legends. Finally, I get his thoughts on the Royal family drama.
Al Beck is back with Rock News. Of course we talk about the Grammys….yawn, a band that’s been forced to cancel their upcoming unplugged/story-telling tour. Josh Kilnghoffer recently talked about his exit from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Green Day dropping F-bombs at the NHL All-Star game.
Thank You so much for listening!
