2nd Annual Women's Automotive Cup Outdoor Hockey Game
General Motors and Ford Motor Company female employee hockey teams will return to the ice to face off for charity on Saturday, January 19 at 6:30 at Clark Park’s regulation-sized outdoor hockey rink located at 1130 Clark Avenue in the heart of southwest Detroit.
The 2nd Annual GM vs. Ford Automotive Cup will feature a game with three 15-minute periods, an exhibition by Clark Park’s girls’ hockey team, the Sharks, concessions donated by Green Dot Stables, the wildly popular Chuck-a-Puck, and a silent auction.
Admission is gained by a $5 suggested donation at the gate. Each donation - for admission, concessions, chuck-a-puck, and silent auction items - can be attributed to either Team GM or Team Ford. The team that has raised the most money at the end of the game wins top billing for next year's game.
All proceeds will benefit Clark Park Coalition and Matrix Theatre Company, two nonprofits located in southwest Detroit.
Cost: Payment required - $5 suggested donation at the gate.
