Doni, Joel "Friendly" Morgan and Cameraman Steven got a warm welcome from Ferndale to celebrate City of the Week. They visited Bobcat Bonnie's, Ferndale Historical Museum, Magic Bag, Painting with a Twist, Found Sound and Nerd Out to eat, play and learn...but not necessarily in that order.
City of the Week was hanging out in downtown Ferndale... what’s up, Found Sound?
Doni and Joel couldn’t resist getting a selfie before heading in to Bobcat Bonnie’s.
Joel was ready to devour what Chef Cody cooked up.

Their faces just scream "Sorry"
Joel enjoyed his lunch ...Cheers!
At Painting with a Twist and Michelle, our host ,was amazing! The people in our class were a ton of fun too.
Trying to get in the artist mind frame: Joel and Doni take a class at Painting With A Twist in Ferndale: city of the Week!

Hey, it's Bob Ross!
Cameraman Steven is a blank canvas. This is not a joke
Joel and Doni paint Cameraman Steven’s face.
Classic Cameraman Steven...He painted a UFO into his picture
Kelly, a person lucky enough to be in our class, is getting married. Doni hooked her up with a photo op.
A guy in class got "blunt" with his paintbrush
Joel "Bob Marley" Morgan
Group pic of the class, what a great time!
Three masterpieces (and the paintings look good, too)
Back on the streets of Ferndale heading to the Magic Bag!
We talked to Willy Wilson who’s been at The Magic Bag for 20 years and has incredible stories!
The Selfie Space features whatever band is playing (they put the WCSX logo in for us!)
Joel and Doni took the stage as the characters they are!
After we stopped by to see Joel’s people at Nerd Out...
We introduced Cameraman Steven to a magical thing called “the cassette tape.” #TomPetty
Cameraman Steven and Joel show some Ferndale antique button love.
The grenade in the picture has been in the museum for years. Some time ago, a Navy Seal stopped by the museum. He looked at the grenade and told them they had a situation. The grenade had never been disarmed. The bomb squad got called in and they removed the grenade. The grenade was returned to the Ferndale Historical Museum once it had been properly disarmed!
Joel got to try on the old mascot head from Ferndale High School... That's the Lincoln statue from Ferndale’s original high school in the background.
Joel and Doni check out the AV section.
Doni posed with some mannequins to try and see what they see
And Joel pretended he was a sailor
Thanks for having us, Ferndale, WCSX City of the Week!
