If you weren't at Pine Knob Music Theatre was alive Saturday for the 37th anniversary of 94.7 WCSX you missing an amazing show with John Waite, Styx, and Foreigner rocking out to an almost sold-out crowd of over 13,000 fans.

John Waite Still Rocks

British rocker John Waite took the stage at 6:45 pm showcasing his powerful voice. Playing music from his solo career and classics from The Babys and Bad English. He started off with "Missing You," "Change," and "When I See You Smile," followed by The Babys' hit "Midnight Rendezvous" and Bad English's "Best of What I Got." Waite finished the show with Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" and Buddy Guy's "Let Me Love You, Baby."

Styx: A Progressive Rock Odyssey

Styx took the stage, showcasing their 42-plus year career playing their hits like "The Grand Illusion," "Too Much Time on My Hands," "Lady," "Come Sail Away,' "Mr. Roboto" and "Renegade,"

Foreigner: A Jukebox Hero's Dream

Closing the night, Foreigner rocked the night, showing why they are still around after 38-plus years of playing hits like "Double Vision," "Cold as Ice," "Juke Box Hero," "I Want to Know What Love Is," and "Hot Blooded."

37 Years of Rock

WCSX's 37th-anniversary concert celebrated Detroit's love of classic rock. John Waite, Styx, and Foreigner put on an amazing show; I don't know if our 38th-anniversary show could even top this.
