Roseville Parade Feature

In 1873, Memorial Day was first officially observed in New York. And by 1890 every state in the Union state had adopted it. After the World Wars, the day became a day to honour all military personnel. In 1971, Congress simplified the day to be on the last Monday of May.

And on this day, May 30th, Roseville honoured their veterans with a wonderfully planned parade. WCSX is honoured and delighted to have been a part of this parade to honour our veterans both at home and abroad. And if you take one thing away from this beautiful day is to say thank you to a veteran for their service.

The VFW were in front of us unloading arms full of candy to the happy kids.

Hot Scott, aka Scotty, when not wrangling his chihuahua he's writing, painting, and playing games. Loves Dungeon and Dragons, comics, and everything nerdy and geeky. He has an uncontrollable beard and has been known to wear a kilt on the right occasion. Might be a robot, we are checking on that. Send oil.
