I got a chance to visit the MARVAC RV show at the Suburban Collection Showplace on Friday. Just WOW. My sister and her husband have a motorhome and they love it. They camp where and when they want, and bring what they want. Glamping is a pretty sweet option these days.

President and CEO, John Lindey gave me the deluxe tour. We saw folding campers, motorhomes, travel trailers, toy haulers, fifth wheels, and park models. There are some really stunning, creative, and cool options out there. I feel like buying a motorhome is kind of like buying a house. Instead of saving on rent, you're saving on hotel stays. And you know ahead of time exactly what to expect of your accommodations.

The park models blew me away. They aren't meant to move a lot.  You tow a park model to your summertime campsite and leave it there until you pack things up for Fall.  The picture above is inside one of the park models MARVAC was featuring.  Scroll down for more pics.  This thing has spiral staircases, an insanely big bathroom, and its own washer and dryer.

I also love the folding campers.  Some of the designs are so creative.  Imagine having a treehouse as part of your camper.  That's the vibe I got.  Again, check out the pictures below to see more.  The MARVAC show is only going on through October 8th, 2023 so get on it, or you'll have to wait until the next one.

SIDE NOTE:  Not all of these campers and motorhomes cost a fortune.  I was surprised to see that there were some great models up for just over $200 a month.

The park model I looked at had a spiral staircase leading to one upper bunk.

The Airstreams are LUX. The swivel passenger seat is the tip of this iceberg.

I thought this folding camper was the stuff childhood dreams are made of! It's like you're sleeping in a treehouse... only better.

Talk about sharp. A vintage truck pulls a camper.
