Everybody in Roseville showed up for the Veterans Thrift Store (supporting Veterans Returning Home) including the mayor! Big Jim and WCSX were there to introduce and participate in this monumental event. WCSX even brought out the Stone Soup Project Bronco! It is so close to being finished and if you haven't bought tickets for the raffle to win it, please do so here.

This chimp works hard! Two jobs, working promotions and Costco? I get it, I work in radio too.

VeteranThrift2.jpg

The Stone Soup is one of the coolest projects that WCSX and Big Jim put their hearts into supporting.

VeteranThrift4.jpg

The Stone Soup Bronco is looking awesome! Get those raffle tickets and get a chance to win it!

Everyone in Roseville showed up to say a few words about how proud they are of this new store.

The head of the Veterans Returning Home, Sandy Bower says a few words before the giant scissors make an appearance.

VeteranThrift7.jpg

There are plenty of reasons to be proud to see this store open. Mark Hackel - Macomb County Commissioner had a few things to say about it.

VeteranThrift27.jpg

More dedication and praise are delivered. Come on! I want to see the huge scissors!

VeteranThrift12.jpg

What more is there to say? Well, there is a lot more to say, sorry here is the microphone.

VeteranThrift20.jpg

Big Jim gives a heart felt shout out to all the people that helped make the new store and Stone Soup Bronco possible.

VeteranThrift26.jpg

Big Jim shows off the Stone Soup Bronco and talks about all the great volunteers, companies, and listeners that helped make the Bronco possible.

VeteranThrift9.jpg

The mayor talks about how excited he is both to hold giant scissors and about helping with the grand opening of this great store helping veterans.

VeteranThrift16.jpg

Sandy hears a great joke delivered...what did they say?

VeteranThrift17.jpg

Come on Sandy tell us the joke!

VeteranThrift24.jpg

The joke is now relayed to the mayor....

VeteranThrift13.jpg

With mirth in our hearts, the ribbon is cut!

VeteranThrift1.jpg

No end to the beautiful skies. What did you do this weekend?

VeteranThrift25.jpg

Big Jim has been hands on literally with the Stone Soup making sure that everything goes smoothly.

VeteranThrift14.jpg

I want this guy's enthusiasm for being outside. No sleeves for this man! LET THE GUNS OUT!

VeteranThrift22.jpg

One of the many people this store and Stone Soup Project help out.

VeteranThrift21.jpg

So it's time for my stand up routine right?

VeteranThrift5.jpg

But I wanna stay! No, you can go home now Jim.

VeteranThrift8.jpg

It's Saint Patrick's day somewhere right?

VeteranThrift18.jpg

Couple of bros hanging talking about stuff.

VeteranThrift19.jpg

The staff of the Veterans Thrift Store. Ready to help!

VeteranThrift23.jpg

The major has the best knock knock jokes I've ever heard.

VeteranThrift10.jpg

My wife and I love thrifting and this looks perfect for us.
