How Much Did a Super Bowl Ad Cost This Year?
The 2025 Super Bowl commercial rates were roughly 8 million dollars for a 30 second commercial but some advertisers paid MORE. 2023-2024 Super Bowl ads ran about 7 million dollars for a 30 second spot.
The first time that the AFL and NFL played each other for the top spot, commercials were $40,000 and tickets were 12 bucks! This year the median price for a Super Bowl tickets was more than $5,000 dollars.
Many advertising firms think that the billion dollar mark will soon be reached in the total advertising done during the Super Bowl. It is the primo advertising time. Many people look forward to the commercials as much as the game.

I could not believe what I was seeing. Eugen Levy's eyebrows took flight for crazy puffs. BTW the bacon crazy puffs are Eugene's recipe. Turns out he loves to cook!
Pringles Mustache Brigade
Find yourself out of Pringles? Blow in the can and call the moustache brigade. A ton of moustaches (including some famous ones) converge after the call is made. Actor Nick Offerman, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, and the L.A. Clippers’ James Harden are a part of the fun.
The Pringles and Little Caesars commercials used similar technology, but both were hilarious.
The Seal of Mt. Dew
I am laughing even as I type. The musician Seal is a seal for this Mt. Dew Lime commercial, lamenting that he has no arm to hold the Dew. I am crying!
Doritos Alien Takeover
Doritos had a "Crash the Super Bowl" contest where fans were invited to make their own Doritos commercial. The winning spot aired during the Super Bowl and the winner got a cash prize. They brought the contest back last year. I love this ad featuring aliens trying to steal Doritos.
Nike - Female Athletes
This is Nike's first Super Bowl add in 27 years. Sha'Carri Richardson, A'ja Wilson, Jordan Chiles, Sophia Smith and Caitlin Clark are featured.
Bud Light - Party in the Sac
Crying laughing again... the dialogue is superb. "Wanna go fishing tomorrow?" "I can't. I have a colonoscopy." Post Malone, Shane Gillis, and Peyton Manning are hilarious in this Bud Light spot.
Hellmann's Mayonnaise with Harry and Sally
A throwback to the famous scene of When Harry Met Sally only this time the inspiration for the "Oh yes" moment is adding Hellmann's to her sandwich.
