Big Jim’s House

Weekdays 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Charlie’s Angels debuted on Feb 22nd, 1976, and quickly became one of the most popular TV shows of the 1970s. The show follows the adventures of three beautiful women who work for a mysterious millionaire, Charlie. Each week, the angels would embark on a new case, using their brains, beauty, and martial arts skills to bring criminals to justice. While the show was campy and often unintentionally funny, it was also wildly popular, thanks in part to its strong female leads. So, who’s your favorite angel?

  • Ranking your favorite Charlie's Angels

Okay…this is just my opinion (it’s probably the poster that put #1 over the top).

  • 1. Farrah Fawcett

The original Angel, Farrah Fawcett was the most popular member of the trio. She left the show after only one season, but her image continued to be used in promotions for the show. Fawcett went on to have a successful career as an actress, appearing in films such as “The Cannonball Run” and “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.” She passed away in 2009 after a battle with cancer.

  • 2. Jaclyn Smith

Jaclyn Smith was the only original Angel to stay with the show for its entire run. She was also the only Angel to appear in all five of the Charlie’s Angels films. Smith has had a successful career both on television and in film, appearing in movies such as “Dynasty” and “The Love Boat.”

  • 3. Kate Jackson

Kate Jackson joined the show in its second season, replacing Farrah Fawcett. Jackson appeared in all 110 episodes of the show and also starred in two of the Charlie’s Angels films. After leaving the show, Jackson had a successful career as an actress and director, appearing in films such as “Scared Stiff” and “The Shadow Riders.”

  • 4. Cheryl Ladd

Cheryl Ladd replaced Kate Jackson as an Angel in the show’s third season. Ladd appeared in all 96 episodes of the show and also starred in two of the Charlie’s Angels films. After leaving the show, Ladd had a successful career as an actress, appearing in films such as “Stargate SG-1” and “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.”

  • Shelley Hack

Shelley Hack joined the show in its fourth season, replacing Cheryl Ladd. Hack appeared in all 44 episodes of the show and also starred in one of the Charlie’s Angels films. After leaving the show, Hack had a successful career as a model and actress, appearing in films such as “Tootsie” and “Spy Game.”

  • 6. Tanya Roberts

Tanya Roberts joined the show in its fifth and final season, replacing Shelley Hack. Roberts appeared in all 22 episodes of the show and also starred in one of the Charlie’s Angels films. After leaving the show, Roberts had a successful career as an actress, appearing in films such as “A View to a Kill” and “Sheena.”
